Medical elastic compressive sleeve is recommended for prophylaxis and treatment of a lymph outflow disorder shortly after breast excision and at a later period, as well as after traumas, fractures, deep burns, effects of lymphangitis and thrombophlebitis of arms, and underarm radiotherapy.
Description
The sleeve is woven of medical elastic stockinet in accordance with seamless technology. The product length is from the wrist to the underarm. The product’s interweaving secures the distributed pressure (decreasing from hand or forearm towards shoulder) on soft tissues of arm that leads to increase of the venous blood flow rate, filtration reduction and the increased reabsorption of extracellular fluid, and secures the physiologic lymph flow. This prevents the appearance of oedemas and reinforces the previous treatment result.
The sleeve with a shoulder can be fixed on the body with the help of a special elastic band or on a bra shoulder-strap with the help of the velcro fastening.
Technique of application:
The compression class and the product type are determined by a doctor. The product size is selected strictly according to the individual anatomic measurements of the arm. The scheme of measurements and the table of sizes are provided on the packing.
The compressive sleeve should be worn daily. Put it on in the morning, as soon as you wake up. First, turn the sleeve inside out up to the part which is put on the wrist. Put the product on. Evenly, without twisting, straighten the product at your arm. Make sure that the sleeve is evenly stretched along the entire arm and that it neither forms folds, nor causes excessive compression.

Contra-indications: individual incompatibility with components of raw materials of the product, dermatitis of various aetiologies, eczemas (primarily, weeping ones), erysipelatous inflammation (in an acute stage), severe forms of cardiopulmonary decompensation, and chronic arterial insufficiency.
Sanitary-and-hygienic processing:
The compressive products are hand-washed in a soap solution, at the temperature of +40°С, not using substances containing bleachers. Do not apply cleaning with chemicals. Careful wringing without twisting and spreading for drying is recommended. Ironing is prohibited.
